North Allegheny School Board Candidates

Nicholas Bassett earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Nicholas seeks to represent parents in the classroom which is long overdue considering the Parental Rights Violation claims at recent North Allegheny School Board meetings. With forthcoming infrastructure projects within the North Allegheny School District and the need for major renovations, Nicholas is positioned to utilize his technical background in Electrical Engineering to provide significant value to improving the aging infrastructure in the North Allegheny School District.

Paige Hardy earned a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Melbourne and is the current North Allegheny School Board Vice President. Paige Hardy boasts that she restored library positions and doubled the amount of social workers in the school district.  It is noted that these efforts are beneficial; however, it appears that Paige Hardy has a personal and limited agenda dedicated to the library and mental health.  Paige Hardy herself indicated to TribLIVE that the North Allegheny School District needs to renovate aging buildings and it appears that her education and experience does not make her a suitable candidate to address these major issues.
